Tadalafil (Cialis) 20 mg – Description and Use
Tadalafil, widely known under the brand name Cialis, is a prescription medication used mainly for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult men. It belongs to a class of drugs called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors.
How It Works
Tadalafil works by relaxing the smooth muscles of blood vessels and increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. It enhances the natural effects of nitric oxide, allowing a firm and long-lasting erection.
Sexual stimulation is required for the medication to be effective.
One of the key features of Tadalafil is its long duration of action, which can last up to 36 hours, earning it the nickname “the weekend pill.”
